You don’t need to know them by heart for this exercise.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS
You must first create a new image that associates the two words. Word number 1 from the list you’ve made to # 1 from the Memory Table, for example, the word Car is associated with the word Tea. Think of a Car crushing into a giant Tea pot on the highway. All you have to do now is to remember the new word you’re memorising with association to the image of the Tea pot to find the image of the Car. 
In order, proceed from the new list of words to the Memory Table. EXERCISE TABLE WITH PICTURES - The word number 2 from the Memory Table is of Noah and the new word to retain is telephone. Think of Noah telephoning God to complain about the flood that doesn’t permit him to dry his laundry. Noah is very angry. You can till he is quite angry from the tenor of his voice and cacophony of the animals in protest as well… (Don’t forget: the more the image is outrageous, the higher the chances are of remembering it!). - The onomatopoeia Moo is associated with Candy : Imagine that your cow moos and runs behind children to steal their candy. Look at how big the candy are, filled with sugar. - The word Alarm is associated with Ray: The alarm rings and emits bright yellow sun rays to wake you up in the morning…
- The word Computer is associated with La: Our singer is working on his computer, typing fervently, and the computer possessed sings by itself to tune LA, LA, LA LA… - The word Television is associated with Bee: You are watching a television documentary on bees; suddenly, they come from out the Television in masses to sting you… - The word Coat is associated with Fee: Imagine you find your dream coat for the winter, very fashionable, and for a reasonable fee. Except, that the sleeves, collar, buttons are sold apart for another fee, of course. - The word Chocolate is associated with Chow: Were you aware that a Chow’s tongue is dark purple due to his addiction to chocolate? - The word Letter is associated with gay: Think of how gay you are to know that there is a letter for you with a free cruise in the Mediterranean!
- The word Trash bin is associated with Taxi: In the future, every Taxi will be fuelled by the trash from the trash bin. A quick stop by the trash bins to fill up the tank! Once you’ve learnt them, look again at the Memory Table. You’ll be surprised by how easy it is to remember the entire list. It’s magic ! Conclusion :
By remembering the key words and the images from the Memory Table the words from the list you have associated will come to mind automatically and, since you’ve assimilated by numeric order, you will be able to retain them in that order. If you execute the same exercise backwards, in other words, if you look at the list of words you’ve just memorised, you are going to remember the key words from the Memory Table. In the same way, if you are asked a simple number you will find the key word first, and the image associated to it consequently. You may begin as many times as you’d like with new lists in different languages that you speak fluently.
